STEP 1

Reply with the command

Pick any tweet. Reply with an amount. Your stake locks and your reply becomes the challenger.

The crowd picks sides

Anyone can back your reply or defend the original. The OP can defend their own tweet.

Likes decide it

When the clock runs out, real likes are counted. The winning side splits the pot. The result posts in the thread.

How it works

The rules of a ratio battle, from the reply to the payout.

A battle, step by step

Log in with X and deposit SOL.
Reply to any tweet with @ratiobot ratio 1 sol. Your stake locks.
The bot replies with a battle card: both like counts, the deadline, and the pot.
Anyone replies back 0.5 sol to join your side or defend 0.5 sol to back the original.
When the window ends, the bot counts real likes on both tweets.
More likes on the reply means RATIO'D. Otherwise the original HELD.
The winning side splits the pot minus 4%, pro rata to what each person put in.
The bot posts the receipt in the thread. The original poster's cut is ready to claim.

Only the first line is read. Case and spacing don't matter. Minimum 0.05 SOL, maximum 25 SOL per position. If you're underfunded, the bot replies with your deposit link and nothing else.

How likes are counted

Both tweets are counted at the deadline, using total likes, not likes gained during the battle. That's what a ratio is.
A like counts only if the account is at least 30 days old, has 10 or more followers, and isn't flagged as a like farm or linked device.
Likes from the challenger, the OP and anyone holding a position in the battle don't count toward either side.
Every receipt shows raw likes and counted likes for both tweets.

Pools and payouts

pot            = reply pool + OP pool
fee            = pot × 4%
winning side   = pot − fee, split by stake
your payout    = your stake × (pot − fee) ÷ winning pool

Live odds are shown on every battle as a multiplier, e.g. "Reply pays 1.8x". They move as people back each side and lock at the deadline.

Original poster earnings

15% of the fee on every battle goes to the author of the original tweet, whatever the result. It's held in their name and claimable once they log in with X. Unclaimed earnings stay claimable for 12 months.

Edge cases

Challenger's reply is edited	Edits are ignored. The original reply ID is what gets counted.
X API outage at the deadline	Counting retries for up to 2 hours using the like count at the deadline timestamp, then refunds.

Limits and safety

18+ only. Region is checked at login, deposit and withdrawal. Restricted regions are blocked.
One open challenge per tweet per account, and max 10 open positions per account.
Tweets from accounts that have opted out can't be battled. Any account can opt out.
No battles on tweets about tragedies, self-harm or private individuals. Reported battles are refunded.
Deposit limits and 24h breaks in your wallet.

Under the hood

Escrow: each battle has an on-chain escrow account. Only the settle step can release it.
Counting: the bot pulls liking users for both tweets at the deadline and filters them with the rules above. The filtered list is hashed and posted with the result so anyone can check it.
Bot: reads mentions into a queue, handles each tweet exactly once and never double-replies.
Burns: every 30 minutes the queue buys $RATIO and burns it in the same transaction.
